Hello bitcoin OGs!

The Coldcard case really shook me up. Not only because of the theft, but because of a mantra that all y’all OGs are praying on a daily basis: don’t trust, verify!
Who verified the Coldcard seed gen? - Well, obviously not the guys that should have.
Who is now able to educate us, the bitcoiners without a degree in it, how we can verify, if the Coldcard works properly in dice mode?

Most people buying hardware wallets are not geeks, they are just trusting what the bitcoin "experts" suggest. I feel sorry for them, as it could also have happened to me, I was just lucky to trust the "right" experts.
