After 15 weeks of classes and 4 or 5 field trips, it is official. I am a Virginia Master Naturalist. I'll be focusing my volunteer efforts on birds (shocking, I know!) and at least one other area that is still TBD.

I'm going to miss the weekly classes. It was the closest I've been to a social life in many years.
