But consider that the spikes in interest correlate with government crackdowns. If you think there's going to be more government oppression going forward, then Nostr is not a bad bet.

Decentralized things take time. It's not a six-week MVP and raise money cycle. It's years of waiting and success is gradual and then sudden.

Nostr doesn't matter until you need it. Now is a good time to chill and build. In contrast to the intensity of other social media experiences it may seem dull, but to me that's a feature at the moment. Less content, more signal, and more time to enjoy life outside the screen.

We need to find ways to explain/show ppl that Nostr is not just another twitter and what issues it solves, why is better, etc. The same way we need to explain/show ppl that Bitcoin is not just another asset, why is better than fiat, etc
