There is a surreal and pornographic thing that is pervasive on streaming media/podcasts: two men pretending to be engaged in normal social leveling behavior when they actually hate each other. It’s more disgusting and titillating when only one of the two knows what’s going on.

People see this behavior constantly now. It is a standard dynamic. Up until a just a few years ago, you would have gone your entire life without ever witnessing this very specific type of antisocial human interaction.
