Si-o-se-pol Bridge — the timeless beauty of Isfahan

Si-o-se-pol, also known as the Bridge of Thirty-Three Arches, is one of the most famous historical landmarks of Iran and a magnificent masterpiece from the Safavid era. Built in the early 17th century during the reign of Shah Abbas I, the bridge stretches across the Zayandeh Rud and has been a symbol of Persian architecture, engineering, and social life for centuries.

More than just a bridge, Si-o-se-pol has always been a place where people gathered — to walk, meet, celebrate, and enjoy the beauty of the river and the city. Its elegant symmetry, repeating arches, and reflection on the water have made it one of the most beloved images of Isfahan.
