Saving memories or saving stuff to eat later 🙃

Or investing into the next generation

That's right. Even as a kid, Scrooge McDuck was my favorite Disney character. One of the most commonly misinterpreted wise sayings of all is “carpe diem.” It doesn't mean ‘enjoy’ the day, but rather “seize” it. Because you shouldn't rely on the next day. That's exactly why we save.
