i think it's a mistake. i think the eu miscalculated how much influence they have. i also think the reality is: the canadians have to decide if they are european and they want to replace the american standard with a europe standard and make the exact same mistake they made with nafta in the 90s. it's a cgi adjacent decision to run to a new abuser because they don't want to stand independently.... it's going to show canadian interest in the next few months - and i think in the end, the reality is, if canada decides to put themselves at the mercy of the eu - that's a decision.
