I just learned about this phone today. I like the physical switch to disconnect the battery. I also like the distress pin feature (does GrapheneOS have this feature?). Does anyone here know anything about this phone? I don't see "open-source" mentioned anywhere, so I'm a little skeptical. #asknostr

Like all the "home serverOSs"s this is just a bunch of apps that already exist in a pretty package. GrapheneOS has all of it without their " private" cloud. And at $900 its's a gamble

Yes, you can set a second pin / password for GrapheneOS. When entered, it will whipe the device. Pretty cool if you get forced to unlock it. https://grapheneos.org/features#duress

and there is a automatic reboot (lock the device and clear the RAM). I recommend reading the full feature list.

Its interesting that nexdock are also launching their own phone hardware. But in the interim it seems that only GrapheneOS is fixing all zero days so quickly, so it's the obvious choice now. Try it out on a pixel 8,9,10. Its tough, but worth it.
