It was my first bear market that made me realise I should never tell anyone what they should do with their money. If I think a friend is ready I’ll encourage them to learn and be there if they have questions.

As long as you can help yourself and your family, you should be proud of your actions. People don't need to be saved, people should save themselves, otherwise we're no different from any statist organizing the life of others for the collective good.

I also notice that people have no f’ing clue why they invest in other vehicles. They only reason they have for putting money in a crypto or stocks is that simply put, it boils down to ‘I’m hoping it goes up’ They cannot tell you a single thing about why. It’s a patience game for sure.

So true. It's the same with all kinds of "revolutionary" information (and there is loads of). UNlearning what you believed (or were taught) is the hardest part and yet the essential prerequisite.
