He’s not wrong though. Marx said there needs to be a central bank for Marxism to function.

You are both wrong only because you are both misreading the original post.

It wasnt about central banking.
It was really about currency debasement and fiat (stealing other peoples money).

The biggest right wingers get their panties in a bunch when they have to admit that capitalism is the champion and cheerleader of the fiat system. Which is everything that is wrong with the planet.

Proponents of the Bitcoin Standard, such as economist Saifedean Ammous in his book The Bitcoin Standard, argue that central banks could adopt a system backed by Bitcoin similar to the historical gold standard. Under this model, central banks would accumulate and manage Bitcoin reserves rather than issuing fiat currency, using corporate taxes paid in Bitcoin to bolster these reserves. This approach is argued to provide low inflation and strong economic growth by limiting money supply growth, while still allowing central banks to set varying interest rates based on risk spreads, similar to practices under the Classical Gold Standard

I wasn’t responding to your initial post, just the comment in the thread. And yeah you’re right, banking wouldn’t go away on a bitcoin standard.
