@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q...Things might be different now than they were two years ago, but I found the apps in /e/OS too limiting and had been replacing a lot of them, e.g. to my own NextCloud, etc. I had one very important medical app that insisted on being installed by Play and using the real Play services. That app needed NFC also, which didn't work on the FP3 (something about long string support in LineageOS).
I also hated the name, as it is impossible to search for. Even the hashtag eos floods my timeline with Canon cameras. It was originally called eelo, but they were forced to change it.
There was a long outage on ecloud once, including email delivery, some time ago after I had already left. I wonder how many users they lost then.
Their constant quibbles with GrapheneOS have been tiring.
