Wax2 wanted a book that was bought outside of the Kindle ecosystem on their ereader. Imagine my horror on discovering that Amazon have removed the ability to mount a Kindle via USB for transferring books. Not only that but the replacement ‘service’ which requires uploading documents through the Amazon webpage doesn’t even support their own proprietary formats. I had to convert a perfectly good epub doc to pdf just so they could read it.

So glad I don’t use Kindle anymore.
