Monero devs save LN?
This approach has its various downsides where as a Monero bro I have a hard time recommending it, but it might very well be the most usable way to receive and send LN transaction...
Pretty ironic that cake is pretty much the best Bitcoin mobile wallet now. Its one of the only wallets that support silent payments, its also got payjoin v2 built in.
Its still LN privacy so its still 100% dependendent on the LSP not logging (they are) but this is the same for all other easy onboarding LN wallets: Zeus, Phoenix, Breez, WoS.
Its pretty blackpilling that the best lightning can get with L1 level UX is entirely dependent on the LSP not to act dishonestly and steal your funds and spy on all your transactions and report them linked to your IP. Worse security than on-chain, with marginally better privacy only for those who can confidently implement network obfuscation (most use single hop Proton or NordVPN and think they're safe)
