Silicon Valley led masses of retail to theiir slaughter with a "bitcoin but secure" narrative. Learn from their technical mistakes sure but hardly praise worthy.

I wouldn't dunk on them for a bug. I dunk on their original failure of designing an inherently unauditable currency.

That seems somewhat fair, although I do smell a bit of pump and dump and influencer campaign in recent past, but I don't follow the project much at all

They wrecked quite a few newcoiners with their high profile influencer marketing
