Today I want to share something very special with all of you.

I’m still trying to process it, but… I’m going to be a dad.

Honestly, this wasn’t part of my plans. As many of you know, I’m just a guy in my twenties. I got into Bitcoin late, but I was fortunate enough to join Nostr relatively early. Along the way, I found an amazing community, and maybe that’s why you’re the very first people I’m telling. No one in my family knows yet.

Life has a funny way of surprising us.

I had a vasectomy. I’m currently broke and nowhere near the financial position I imagined I’d be in before starting a family. She knew all of that. Even so, she kept praying and asking God for a child… and somehow, it happened.

Sometimes I ask myself how such a young woman chose a guy in my situation to be the father of her child. The only answer I can come up with is that God writes stories we could never plan ourselves.

Despite all the fears and challenges ahead, my heart is full of gratitude. I’m incredibly happy and excited for this new chapter of our lives.

Soon, we’ll have one more Nostrich among us.
