Look at the border. There's a house that literally sits on the line and is both in Canada and the USA.
We both believe in Bitcoin, fiat money is just an abstraction layer which is really only a waste of time. Okay so why have Canadian dollars? Just use USD.
The specific situation I'm discussing would mean no losses for new Americans, only that they now have access to more resources and America gets a tiny bit more tax payers. Both groups benefit.
Something like China and Mongolia would not work, they are two distinctly different people, cultures, languages, etc.
The USA and Canadian border is a geographical mess and a joke. It can't even be taken seriously. Both groups are missing opportunities while taking on the disadvantages. Canadian military fights when America and or England tells them to. They were both in Afghan and Iraq. They're in Ukraine now. They aren't avoiding the mess, they're pretending it doesn't exist while dealing with worse housing, a worse currency, a weaker economy, and all the same wars.
