Anyone aware of a Nostr/node networking for dummies guide? I feel lost in the sauce - would love to learn a new concept skill everyday that builds toward sovereign computing/networking expertise.

Everytime I dig In it seems I never find a base layer / bottom on which to build a foundation of knowledge. Just more questions...

Got annoyed by Tailscale requiring 3rd party accounts, so created Nostr VPN. https://github.com/mmalmi/nostr-vpn It signals over nostr relays and creates a wireguard / boringtun network. Builds for Macos and Linux. Using it between my Macs, but haven't tested extensively yet. h Show more

Not that I've made the time to do it. But I assume, start at the bottom. Learn fundamentals of TCP/IP, then build up the layers of networking knowledge until you get to nostr.. I haven't, as I have a working knowledge of it. That gets me by. But to fully understand, I'd have to "know it all", to hav...
