Do you think the idea of equity (equal outcomes) is a communist idea?
Equity is not equal outcomes.
The equal outcomes was a stupid statement Harris made years ago that she shouldn’t have a non of her polices say.
Equity is giving people who have been extremely disadvantaged in the U.S. (say black folks in certain urban centers, etc) some assistance to be able to succeed in life. It should be means based and tested.
I don’t support equal outcomes, I support helping people to have a good start in life. Too many don’t start from a good place, a little help (a targeted loan to start a business v someone who inherits wealth) is equity.
