I suspect the opposite is more likely to be true. Linux’s ecosystem diversity (so many distros) and added feature bloat (complexity) can increase the attack surface, and AI may amplify the rate at which vulnerabilities are found and abused, which could reduce trust across the broader Linux ecosystem. Food for thought

I mean, Linux servers are kind of the backbone of the internet. If any OS has been hardened through battle testing, it's Linux. Pretty much trusted as the industry standard. No? Desktop environments might introduce additional attack surface. But, similarly Gnome and KDE have been there since th...
