I suspect the opposite is more likely to be true. Linux’s ecosystem diversity (so many distros) and added feature bloat (complexity) can increase the attack surface, and AI may amplify the rate at which vulnerabilities are found and abused, which could reduce trust across the broader Linux ecosystem.
