I'm writing this here in case anyone has dealt with something similar. I had a complete blood count done, and all the results came back normal, as if I weren't sick. I don't really feel unwell, but I've never experienced anything like this before.

About three weeks ago, I started having dry mucus in my nose. There was a lot of it, like when you have a cold, but instead of being runny, it was dry. I would do nasal rinses, and it would come back after a while. My nose was very itchy, and this went on for about two weeks until a week ago when I started having more runny, white mucus. Currently, I don't have as much mucus in my nose, but I can feel it going down my throat, and the taste is persistent.

The strange thing is that I never had any symptoms like fever, general malaise, chest pain, or anything like that until three days ago when I had a sore throat for one night. The next day, I woke up hoarse. For the last two days, I haven't had any pain, but I do have an itchy throat that makes me have an involuntary urge to cough.

My lungs feel clear of phlegm, but the Nose/throat not yet

It's currently very bothersome at night because it makes it difficult for me to fall asleep
