I don't know why artists even bother uploading to Spotify, I'm convinced in the future. Artists need to starve Spotify of their content. Then theyll only have AI slop to keep them going. And who is going to subscribe for slop?

The masses are still there. The platforms are ubiquitous and a listener expection. Some quite major artists have pulled their music from Spotify before and not moved the needle so indie artists are really up against it.
