Is there some specific aspect of slack that has contributed more to your hatred? I think for me the worst aspect of Slack, and pretty much every chat application like it, is that it's so invasive on my attention. They are all guilty of this, so I can't say it's just Slack.

haha. also Microsoft Teams is the same. just another app to distract me during the workday. Microsoft should just kill teams entirely and just create an all-in-one app that does email, chat, and videoconferencing (i.e., Outlook+).
