Bitcoin Twitter really seems to be dying.

It seems mostly drowning into Main Character Syndrome capture, engagement farming, useful idiots cheerleading grifters, with very short bursts moments of energized grasps for air of really good posts and discussions.

The trend is noise over signal.

It's kinda sad as it had a very good moment, but i guess nothing is for ever.

What is still unclear is a lot of important public discussions need to be had. But they seem to be Balkanizing and going dark. My DMs are full of things that would serve the commons. But people no longer have the patience for Eternal September arguments and socks.

Nostr could become one of the new bitcoin public squares, but we are definitely still far from it. Gotta find the purple pill formula for the bitcoiner nostr derangement syndrome. ✌️

If more bitcoin devs came to nostr I could easily quit. Seems like most of them are moving to delving however

The date you deleted Twitter may be more important than the date you joined NOSTR. nostr:note164styn2a3h5rqqak83n97kw3lpdz90t5repzrs4l9l8n80s2eaaqkx68e4

We were obligated to get away from jack last platform into the new one. Forcefully updated to the same principals as before. Soon the feds will take over of every single corner of web2.

i sadly think that if Bitcoiners haven't migrated from Twitter to Nostr yet, it's because they want their algos to handfeed them an experience that they're used to. i get it, it makes socials easier to manage, but socials are meant to be social. we don't really need algos doing everything for us. we...

Bitcoiners used to be a label you could apply to anyone that cared about, well anything related to Bitcoin. At some point the success of the project means the number of people and areas of focus are hard to put all into a single bucket. Developers, politicians, product designers, miners, investors, ...

Yep, it’s a fallacy to believe that the quality of the discussions on #Twitter would improve with #Musk takeover. The same opaque and algos are steering the debate.

Fix the filters vs database war of narratives is like watching two skinny chicks pulling hair for a year in slow motion on reverse button

For technical discussions, Delving Bitcoin is trending in the right direction.

Wait, I thought it was a bitcoin echo chamber here? 😂 There are a ton of bitcoiners who can’t and won’t give up the X. They crave that sweet Elon algo juice.

Ah.. it's just engagement of you ask me. All the Bitcoin twuhtter "thought leaders" worked really hard to earn that platform.
