If it was created by the government, it was created to serve a specific purpose. It wouldn't change what Bitcoin is, nor does it guarantee that they're never going to want to kill it.
I mentioned this more in relation to Bitcoin being marketed as this mythical, anti-establishment technology that governments are so afraid of, which it is clearly not.
Jeff Booth presented it as governments trying to kill it because it threatens them so much.
I mentioned they are unlikely to kill it because there are more adversarial alternatives available, and it serves as a useful decoy (which is what its likely purpose was).
This of course doesn't guarantee that they're never going to want to kill it.
Still, Bitcoin has been a massive net positive for the Controllers and a massive net negative for the freedom money movement.
I am sure there are many warring factions at the lower levels, doesn't seem like it at the highest levels though.
