I have this quintessential 90’s memory of being served a happy meal on a united flight while Mrs. Doubtfire played on the in-flight TV’s.

It’s hard to describe how different america felt at that time and painful to reflect on how much we lost since then.

The A team, the Fall guy, Baywatch, Terminator, Predator. I didn’t live in the USA at the time but this was the finest era. Still the best country in the world but a lot of things have been lost including the joy.
