At any rate, it's already over and China (BRICS/MENA) won. They have a robot that's faster than the fastest human on earth in a half-marathon by seven minutes. Even if they add some sort of laser blaster and armor to it, it will still be as fast as the fastest human. A couple of dozen released in a major city at night would be able to kill at least a quarter of the population by morning and probably be able to hide or escape before cops can catch it and that's without drones being added into the mix.

There was a time not too long ago when only America would have been able to pull-off a feat like this, now even if America could do this no organizer would out of fear of being sued by the human participants in the marathon if a robot fell on them or otherwise injured a human participant or spectator.
