As someone who has spent 92% of my adult life single, I genuinely believe that people can be happy and content without having a partner or children.
Don’t compromise your life just because external forces expect you to. Always seek happiness within, it’s the most important thing.

This is true if you’re a third worlder. If you’re white, your people are dying. It’s absurdly selfish to not attempt procreate. Though, if you’ve been single most your life this seems like a you problem that you need to fix first.

That's fine if you're content with that, but understand that you're only experiencing happiness in the demo version of the game. You haven't even played the actual game yet until you have (or adopted) a kid. Then there's the DLC with the grandkids...

Great note. Developing a meditation practice is the most direct path to cultivating self love and acceptance, in my experience.

Obviously secular (hedonistic) women in their 20s and early 30s are happier as singles without kids. they have more free time, more disposable income, less responsibility. the problem is when you hit late 30s, 40s when you realize your home is empty, your friends betrayed you, your parents left thi...

Some people are trying to fill a void in themselves by "building family" like it'll solve their problems, they usually make the worst parents.

Having children is just part of nature. The responsibilities and work is its own reward. A lot of people feel the need to "pass something on" but what they leave their kids with is mostly just trauma and money
