Great list! One thing I try to convey is that there's a lot we don't know. In a lot of their questions about the nature of the world, of history, of human nature, etc they look for an absolute answer or opinion. It's important to me that they see that staying open and curious is often more valuable than having a definitive stance.

Ah yes, excellent point! I wasted too much time caring and being so sure about the wrong things. Children, I believe, are naturally open and curious, so nurturing it and protecting it is our responsibility. Being amazed by everything as well, is something I love in people. I guess what I’m saying ...
