One way to reach higher dimensions from lower dimensions is by "fractalizing" it.
For example a line is 1 dimensional, but if you bend it and keep bending it fractally (Hilbert curve) you can cover an entire plane. You don't even need to physically bend it. You can just mark the bends.
You can even do it with planes on 3d.
