Surprising number of Monero lovers on #Nostr. It’s the only altcoin that I consider has a community of actual cypherpunks with similarly aligned values as bitcoin. I simply think they’re making an economic error rather than a values error in valuing Monero over Bitcoin.

I’m keeping a closer look on ISO20022. For example the MoneyGram, LOBSTR wallet, and Stellar Lumens deelio.

I have some economic arguments for btc over monero that I find convincing.. but no issue with monero users and am forced to agree that in certain cases its use is preferable.

What is the advantage of monero, over bitcoin which has passed through a mixer? The right to privacy is important, but is there any real advantage to Monero?
