The main thing that sucks about international flights is fickle wifi not wanting to work all the time. I got about 2 hours of semi napping on the 9 hour stretch and otherwise watched a few movies and enjoyed the food and wine.

When we got back it took us nearly an hour to get through passport control and there was only 7 people ahead of us in our line. Much much slower then the similar processes in Europe when traversing the Schengen Area.

Assuming you speak of the US… comparing to the Schengen area to us, is like compare domestic travel from state to state. And even then, there are no passports involved. The US is more than 2x the size of the entire Schengen area.
