What kind of work are you leading inspired by theirs?
We've been running equations from the book against Bitcoin block chain.

If we observe Satoshis as equivalent of Kelvin (temperature) then you see that Bitcoin's Universe had it's own Big Bang (Genesis) when energy and temperature were extremely high and it cools down.
More recently it was exploration of Witness Discount in Segwit fork and how it's changed block structure and how it starts to affect Bitcoin. You probably know about spam, slow node download, various L2 issues.
