Who is responsible for all of the Camponotus subgenus names?

Myrmostenus
Myrmoplatys
Myrmopsamma

there are so many and they all start with Myrm... which means "ant" so that's OK, but it can get a little confusing.

I really need to find the book or paper from whoever laid this all out. It needed to be done. There are too many "carpenter ants" ... but it's also just not easy to find information on this.
