Honestly, if I didn't just have a kid and I knew some cool nostr people were there, I would have gone. Especially because I could write off the trip by attending a Golden Knights hockey game 😂

The main speakers, I don't care about. But there are lots of interesting people attending doing cool things. The BTC Mentor guys are there, and they're legit.

I'm a big comic book geek. I remember as a kid going to conferences, where it was all hardcore comic book nerds who would attend. Now, the comic book industry is filled with Hollywood losers who don't understand the characters I love, as well as many woke people who want to change storylines to fit their ideologies.

It sucks sometimes to have to deal with these new participants in the space, but at the same time, I'm happy the industry grew up and has many different people interested in it.

You gotta take the good with the bad.

But it's not because the tent is getting bigger that we shouldn't be holding the fort down, calling bullshit out when we see it.
