with multisig you must save the descriptor or some shit, so unless you fully understand what you are doing stay with singlesig imo. also passphrase being nonstandard is a feature not a bug, see decoy ...

You don't need the configuration/descriptor file if you're executing a 2of2 or 3of3.

You just recover the multisig wallet as you would a singlesig, by just uploading the keys to nunchuck or bluewallet under the multisig tab and your wallet will recover.

Stop spreading information if you're not well versed, pose things as questions as to not confuse people.

Dude you need to read about how multi sig works. In 2-2 multi sig, you still need the xpub. Know the sequence of how you created the multi sig at first. After that which derivative pathway it used. Let’s say you used sparrow to create your multi sig but didn’t saved your xpub, now after 10 year ...

you proposed multisig as one size fits all which is not so instead i'll stick with singlesig since i'm clearly not familiar with msig just pointing out that everyone should act within their confort zone when it comes to cold storage
