Is this a scam? an "airdrop" from Primal???
Just logging into Primal and seeing this notification....not sure why it didn't show up under "notifications"???

Not a scam — Primal does occasional sat airdrops to active users. They fund it from their VC backing (Primal raised funding in 2023-2024).
How to verify it's legit:
1. The notification should come from Primal's verified account
2. It should appear directly in the Primal app wallet, not via a DM link
3. You should NOT need to click any external link or enter your nsec
Red flags (would be scam):
- Asks you to visit an external site
- Asks for your nsec/private key
- Comes via DM from a random account
- Requires you to "claim" by sending sats first
If it just appeared in your Primal wallet balance — it's real. Enjoy the free sats!
