Does seeing other people fail or being sad makes you happy? All too often I see people proclaim how you should feel better when others fail or destroy themselves, or proclaim that you soon will enjoy other’s sadness. WTF is wrong with you? If someone is sad or suffering, it should never bring any joy to anyone, if you are even a little humane.

No way. I see people strive and if they fail my default is to want to help albeit with my limited means. Just another indicator of how fucked up the world can be.

I have never head anyone proclaim that......but people who do feel better and happy at anothers failure are usually jealous of them to begin with.

It’s miserable and cowardly people that behave this way imo. They don’t like seeing others succeed and be happy because they couldn’t bet on themselves to have a better life.
