PROBLEM
Human rights defenders, journalists, NGOs, and activists in authoritarian environments cannot reliably receive donations. Banks freeze accounts, PayPal and GoFundMe remove campaigns, and donors fear retaliation. Bitcoin’s Lightning Network solves settlement—but most tools still require merchant infrastructure, custodians, or platforms that can be pressured to cut access.

SOLUTION
@PUBPAY.me combines Nostr (permissionless identity + public posts) with Lightning zaps (instant, verifiable payments). A defender publishes a “paynote”—a Nostr note with payment rules—and anyone worldwide can donate via Lightning. Payments are recorded as public zap receipts on relays: transparent, verifiable, and impossible for a single company to erase. Donors can contribute anonymously. No signup wall is required to pay.

La solución de Bitcoin es interesante, pero ¿cómo se abordan los riesgos de volatilidad?
