I assumed my people skills had seriously declined from the level of that of my younger years.... To which they have, but apparently not to the degree that i had feared.

It's nice to be able to get in front of a group of strangers and genuinely make them laugh... On purpose. And not at my own expense. Something text can't offer... The roar of the laughter... The compliments that follow. The genuine smiles. The real time reaction to my whimsical blue collar comments.

Bringing just a bit of joy by merely being myself is a nice feeling.

Little do they know I have crippling social anxiety. 😂
