The most useful number here is the last one: 85% of these shops are gone within two weeks. That means the usual advice, "check the reviews", fails exactly when you need it, because a fake shop is too new to have any. No history at all is the warning sign.

Three checks that don't need any software: look up when the domain was registered (a "big brand outlet" registered last month is not one), search the shop's name plus "scam" or "reviews", and at checkout see whether the PayPal or credit card logos actually work. Fake shops often show them and then only accept bank transfer or a card form on their own page, which is where the money and your card details disappear.
