Is it an abused weed-tree that grew in an unattended pot in your roof garden OR is it a naturally occurring bonsai? It's all a matter of perspective.

About 16 years ago I started growing things in pots on the roof. Some kind of tree started growing in one of the large pots I wasn't paying attention to so I just let it grow as a kind of ornamental. This is the most universe plant in the universe. It spent one year under a tarp while workmen fixed the roof, then another just being neglected.

I've never watered it, never done anything but plant moss around the base so that it looks a bit nicer. But it simply will not die. It's now thriving again. It's very stunted, but is has small leaves so it's an accidental bonsai since it looks like a very big tree... but little. It's a survivor.
