@nprofile1q... "explain why someone should change something and hope they understand" feels like such a weak method, though. i feel like if i were someone they looked up to or loved, they'd try much harder to take my opinions and beliefs into consideration.

that is, assuming i don't instantly lose that respect or love for revealing too taboo of an opinion/belief.
