Since I’ve been obsessed with the book “The Mandibles” for months, is was happily surprised to hear that @ODELL had made an interview with the author. A woman who’s the most hardcore bitcoiner, but that doesn’t know she’s a bitcoiner.

My favorite part of the interview is when they laugh at the insanity of the US debt—31 trillion at the time. “How the hell are the ever going to pay that back?!”.

Today it’s 38 trillion.

If I’m not mistaken, I think she got a bitcoin or so from donations(maybe I’m not remembering correctly). Price at the time was 23k that’s a 270% increase at today’s price. Maybe she needs to come back on nostr:npub10atn74wcwh8gahzj3m0cy22fl54tn7wxtkg55spz2e3mpf5hhcrs4602w3 for an update?

Agree, awesome interview! And, the dirty secret: debt is never paid off. It just refinanced -- until it cant, and then it defaults.
