I have to confess that I mistakenly believed 🫂 was a movie icon 🎦 for a long time! Don’t they look somewhat similar? This emoji is rarely used in Japan as people don’t hug family & friends usually🙂 #plebchain 💜

Same, I didn't get it until Damus updated the display of the hashtag. Even now, I don't love the design of the emoji. Maybe it looks better on Android? 🤔
