That’s also my understanding of it. I’ve heard some people say it reduces cravings, long-term studies are still needed, but I really hope it works without some major side-effects
A lot of the hate against it is the irrational hatred of people with an overeating disorder. We all recognize anorexia as a mental illness requiring treatment, but there are even more people with an overeating disorder for whom food is a drug, and that is seen as a character flaw rather than a mental illness.
