Dr Pepper (no period, fun fact) is very popular in TX. I've never liked it but my mom and sibs loved it 🤷‍♀️

It’s huge in the American South. I recently found out Mr. Pibb is still around, though, and as someone who’s lived in America my whole life and traveled all over, I’ve never seen anyone drink or order a Mr. Pibb. So that shocked me.

How to say you’re not from the south without saying you’re not from the south. There was a huge Dr Pepper plant we’d always pass growing up in Dallas. Also the Wonder Bread factory. It smelled so good driving by that one.

It's like cola flavoured but the consistency of the drink is very thick. I think it's mostly syrup, like if you mixed up a batch of coca cola or Pepsi and forgot to add water to the mix.
