Prayers welcome for my sister tonight. She had a discectomy procedure on her L spine yesterday. Instant pain relief in recovery, and back at the hotelβ¦..until she coughed while eating and something went down the wrong pipe.
She felt something pop, and has been in agony ever since. The surgeon says he has to open her up again Monday and may have to do more fascia and disk shaving.
She just had a knee replacement last month and has already been out road riding. Trying to get this back thing solved within weeks so she can work with her landscape crew as usual this summer and keep biking 300+ miles in the bush each week.
