I've had issues with Zeus in the past and still need to recover sats I lost from them last time I used their wallet.

What happened with Phoenix here is annoying but I had immediate access to my sats on-chain, way less of a headache than what happened with Zeus.

Oh nice! Happy ending then. Once my node is all synced up I'm gonna try and recover my Zeus wallet too, I have the recovery phrase still, but the sats got locked up when I didn't use it for a while and the channels all closed. In the wallet it showed that the sats were sent to Show more

I have had a similar situation in the past (under)... I can tell you that if you don't want to have to think about channels, balancing, etc, I recommend WOS (self-custody, spark). I know it's not a real node, but it's also the simplest for beginners... 🤷‍♂ But if you won't have full control...
