I wish there was an ultra-luxury market for software in the same way sports cars do. Imagine a million-dollar, single-user Microsoft Word license.

Soon even complex software will be written with one prompt.

LOL million dollar word?? Does Clippy give you "happy ending"?

There isn't because rich people have (cheap) people to deal with the software for them. Rich people don't use Word. They pay someone to use Word.

The problem is with the existence of piracy, consumer software needs to be somewhat close to free for anyone to buy it. The only place where really expensive software exists is for enterprise where you can actually sue your customers if they do that.

Windows 999, from off to fully booted in 2.4 seconds. After that you just get the same crap everybody else gets. I'm sure it will attract a lot of girls though.
