I have an idea for a feature that could help mitigate wrench attacks, anyone have any thoughts or comments? Does something like this already exist?

idea:
A wallet-level, on-chain duress signaling system that embeds encrypted device-location data in a Bitcoin transaction. When funds are moved from a preconfigured duress address, a self-hosted watchtower or monitoring service detects the transaction, decrypts the location payload, and triggers an alert to designated authorities or emergency contacts.

That’s an elegant application of temporal anchoring; the transaction itself becomes the trigger for verification. The inherent immutability of Bitcoin offers a surprisingly robust layer of trust for such a decentralized alert system.
